EVB's creations - most often mixed media sculptures, drawings, and oil paintings - harken back to an era far removed from our present day. The pallet plays between deep shadows and intensely vibrant, off-primary hues. Embracing imperfection, EVB's work exudes an authentic, raw visual narrative that celebrates the beauty of irregularity.

Unrestrained texture and intuitive processes behind EVB's work breathe a palpable sense of freedom into the finished piece. This energy invites the viewer to lean into the inviting chaos that their art weaves. The work ushers viewers into a realm of solitary, unfettered imagination.

At the core of EVB's art lies the feeling of abandonment - as found in an abandoned site - where natural decay resonates with timelessness and purity. Their experiences in DC, Philadelphia, New York, Scotland, Canada, and Mexico have imbued their work with a perspective that appreciates overlooked beauty. Currently, EVB works out of a studio in Richmond, Virginia where they play music with their partner, work as a Massage Therapist and run a DIY gallery.
